Sam Horine

Sam Horine is a photographer and educator who left New York City in 2018 for the greener pastures of Seattle, WA. Starting his career nearly 2 decades ago, he focuses mainly on editorial assignments in the travel, hospitality and restaurant spaces. He’s known for bringing a documentary approach and fine art aesthetic to his commercial work. Prior to committing full time to running his photography studio, he spent time as an adjunct instructor of photography at New York University. All of these experiences have helped turn his award-winning documentary aesthetic into a successful advertising career. When not working on global campaigns for clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, Lexus and Adobe he can be found in Seattle with a camera in hand.

Sam's work has been published by Travel and Leisure, Conde Nast Travel, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Frieze, Art Forum, Death & Taxes, Spin, Rolling Stone, Art in America, Impose, The L Magazine and many others. He has exhibited in group exhibitions at the Brooklyn Museum, The Queens Museum of Art and New York’s New Museum.
