summer is flying by in it’s own hot, muggy and fun kinda way. sorry for the lack of real time updates, but as you might guess it’s busy w/ work / wedding / friends / concerts / bbq’s and all the other goodly summer activities. looking forward to getting back to regular posting as the we crawl towards fall. here’s a few things i’ve been up to since the last update

stopped by this new record/ coffee / antiques / taxidermy shop in carroll gardens last week to shoot an interior for one of my clients – here are a few outtakes.

exit through the gift shop, the film from banksy, recently opened in many of the major markets here in the us. in support of the film, the artist has been traveling across the country putting up some new pieces. new york was the final stop on the tour and also the one city who’s inhabitants destroyed the pieces almost immediately.
rode the train out to williamsburg w/ brett to listen to the new record as it was being mastered. the train lets you out right next to the half completed / half abandoned building so we took a moment to look around as the sun set.

on monday i stopped by the bell house to drop off shots from last friday night’s midnight special. afterward with some time to kill, i wandered around 3rd street and shot a few shots as the sun set.
on saturday brooklyn based teamed up the bell house to throw down with the 1st annual wedding crashers wedding fair. robin and i had been offered a spot on the guest list by freind and wedding photographer daniel krieger. although we’re fairly far along in planning our upcoming wedding there were a few people robin wanted to see and then there was the free food + free booze. as a cherry on top, metromix asked me if i would take a few photos for a web gallery. they didn’t end up running all of the photos i sent in, so i put them all together in a nice contact sheet style package. click on the above image to enlarge.
